Seven Artists Figurative Show

TEW Galleries is pleased to announce the Seven Artists Figurative Show, an exhibition featuring three to seven works by seven of the most exciting figurative artists we have discovered. Several are established with TEW and four are new to us. The established artists are Stephanus Heidacker, Charles Keiger and Mario Soria, and the new artists are Stephen O'Donnell, Anne Siems, Melissa Sims and Cedric Smith.
The work is distinguished by its bold imagery, humor, sexual daring, and cultural and political positioning. Another hallmark is the bright color and the artists irreverent take on social mores. Of the five artists, three are from Georgia and two are European. This exhibition kicks off the 2020 show season and announces a stylistic step-up in TEW Galleries’ bid to show outstanding mid-career contemporary artists who are building strong careers and are worthy of collecting.
Stephen O’Donnell, Charles Keiger, Melissa Sims and Cedric Smith will be present at the opening. The public is invited to attend and wine, beer, sodas and light bites will be served. Entrance is free and there is also plenty of parking.
