The 3rd Annual Collector's Sale

The 2009 Collector's Sale will be open to anyone who owns fine art that they would like to sell.  This year will be different from the previous years as we are placing a greater emphasis on high quality works of art and will not accept any works deemed purely decorative. The art to be resold can range from antique to contemporary, fine prints to highly desirable originals and include all disciplines and media.

We would love to talk with you about works of art you may want to consign. We will begin reviewing work November 15, 2008 and will have our selections finalized by January 11, 2009.  If you need more information after reading our guidelines for the show please email Jules Bekker or Timothy Tew.

Application:

Interested parties should first send good quality images of works for consideration to timothy@tewgalleries.com for review.

Responsibilities of Consignors:

Consignors of art works for the 3^rd Annual Collector's Sale will be requested to set prices with respect to current market value and with a slant to offering real value to interested buyers. Consignors may be asked to supply certificates of authenticity, a biography of the artist, original bill of sale, information regarding market value and other collateral material to substantiate the importance of the art work.

Fees:

There will be no hanging fees and consignees will not pay promotional fees. The sales commission due to TEW Galleries will be 30% of the agreed upon sales price.
